  "My early work was primarily two dimensional.  I worked with many different mediums including water color, acrylics, collage, paper, charcoal, pastels, amoung others.  While some of these pieces are detailed enough to look like photographs I strive to bring out more of the character, feeling and emotion than you might get with some photographs.  Painting or drawing also allows me artistic license to enhance what I want to portray."
